According to the last report from the Association of Real Estate Miami, in 2019  there was an important Mexican investment in real estate in South Florida.

That information displayed that foreign investment in Miami came, mostly, from Canada and the Unided Kingdom Such document emphasizes the acquisition of coastal properties by Brazilians, Mexicans, Colombians, Argentinians, Chileans, and Peruvians.

Last three months of the past year the sale of buildings increased 6.9%. 52% of the sales in Miami y Fort Lauderdale are from international buyers.

Such, “Miami is still the place preferred for Latin Americans who want to invest in foreign properties”, Edgardo Defortuna, Fortune International Group President, claimed. He emphasized the case of Mexicans, who prefer South Florida over other destinations in West Coast USA.

This tendency is expected to be kept during 2019 because hurdles from past cycles are already overcome, and currently the real estate market offers security to national and international investors.
